Hello, I am Graves Carey, and thank you for visiting my spot on CareyRealtyGroup.com. I have the experience and knowledge to assist my clients in making the right real estate decisions. In 2001, I received my real estate license, and in 2006 earned my Delaware real estate broker license. Thru the years I have handled many different types of real estate transactions with many different types of buyers and sellers. I have work with retirees, first time home buyers, veterans, investors, and second home buyers. Working as a seller’s agent, I enjoy marketing, shooting the photos and virtual tour, and syndicating the property to various sites on the internet.

As a native of Sussex County I know the area extremely well. I grew up in Seaford, and graduated from Seaford High School. After high school I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard. I was a navigator on C-130 Hercules. Over my enlistment I was stationed in Virginia, North Carolina, and Kodiak, Alaska. That experience has had an everlasting impact on my life. In 2000, I moved back to Delaware, and a year later began my real estate career working with my family.

Living near the coast in Delaware is great. I enjoy the many wonderful things it has to offer. Walking my dog, Skeeter, on the beach, fishing, hunting, and seeing the historical places are fun. I love to ride motorcycles. There are some many fascinating places to visit, not only here at the beach, but all across the Delmarva Peninsula. You can to anywhere on the peninsula and home in one day. We have some wonderful restaurants and pubs located at the beach that I love to dine.

I am involved with the Sussex County Association of Realtors by being on the MLS Committee. I am a member of the Sussex Central Ruritan and was a past president of the club. I am now a Zone Governor for my district with the Ruritan. Ducks Unlimited is another organization that I am involved with. I served as a Chapter Chairman, Treasurer, and as the State DU Newsletter Chairman.
